Responsibilities:
– Plan, organize and prepare lessons for, based on the company’s STEM Programs.
– Conduct STEM with Computer Science / Robotics / Entertainment Technology lessons by applying company’s curricula, resources and teaching methodologies.
– Commit to continuously update and upgrade skills and knowledge.
– Create additional learning materials / resources to enhance the programs.
– Deliver curricula and training content translation, and mapping curricula to local education standards (eg. syllabus and standards defined by Ministry of Education in the country).
– Manage all operational and logistical matters related to the implementation of lessons, such as managing the learning content on the Learning Management System, preparing reports to HQ, etc.
– Support sales team by providing content expertise and demonstrate the curriculums to potential customers (ie. school leaders and teachers).
– Participate in cross-teams meetings and activities.
Requirements:
– At least a Bachelor of Degree / Professional Certificate in Education / Computer Science / Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or equivalent.
– Professional training and certification in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mathematics, Physics or equivalent is preferred.
– At least 3 years of experience in teaching or equivalent.
– Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
– Fluency in additional language(s) will be an added advantage.
– Prior experience in teaching K-12 students (5 to 16 years old) is an added advantage.
– Having experience with programming and/or robotics is an added advantage.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills.
– Knowledge about pedagogy and teaching of students.
– Must demonstrate flexibility in thinking, ability to work across teams, ability to connect with external stakeholders (eg. school leaders and teachers).
