Function:
This position is responsible to develop/ maintain the basic data for planning purpose, determine the plant’s capacity & contribute in continuous improvement projects to increase production effectiveness.

Job Details
Perform time study to determine theoretical equipment throughput, process cycle time & direct man power requirement
Conduct monitoring on equipment performance
Involved in capacity improvement project
Conduct capacity analysis to analyze line constraint & assist production control team
Knowledge sharing between sites for continuous improvement

Pre-requisite Knowledge and Skills
Degree in Production / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering or its equivalent.
Preferably with 2 years relevant experience. Fresh graduate will also be considered as entry position
Experience in productivity, continuous improvement, cycle time theory and project management is a plus
Have a strong personal desire to succeed and persistence to produce results under extreme pressure.
Must possess strong problem solving skills, good communication skill and be self-driven.
Relationship
Reports to Planning Manager locally with dotted line to PC director in Corporate.
Accountability
To provide superior manufacturing services support as an enabler towards ensuring the efficient performance of the KL Plant.
To generate and meet the annual departmental goals and budgets in concert with the overall Plant goals and budgets per set guidelines.
