Responsibilities :
A) Shared Service Center (SSC)
1. To check and process staff claims ensure compliance with guidelines
2. To prepare and run payment for staff claims, ensure approved and paid on time.
3. To process timely and accurately Interco invoices & perform month end intercompany reconciliations.
4. To perform Month end General Ledger bookings and other month end closing activities.
5. To ensure all the SSC processing are standardised, complied with group and local countries guidelines.
6. To ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the SSC
7. To ensure high quality of work performed by the SSC
8. Continuous improvement in workflow to improve efficiency& effectiveness of SSC
B) Accounting, Audit, Treasury and Controlling
1. Ensure group internal management reports are prepared within the stated deadlines
2. Ensure credit management procedures is complied with and payment from customers are received by due date
3. Ensure all payment to employees and suppliers complied with guidelines and are paid on time
4. Assisting coordination with statutory auditor for necessary procedures to complete year-end closing
5. Monitor cash flow and credit facility utilisation
6. Monitor key financial indicators of legal entity, highlight major deviation to the management and Work out counter measures to rectify negative deviation
C) Taxation
1. Assisting coordination with tax agent for corporate tax computation, tax return submission, tax payment and any other tax matters that arises
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant local tax regulation such as submission of tax returns (corporate tax, GST, custom duties, withholding tax etc.), import licence etc.
3. Ensure that the organisation’s tax related processes and documentation are well setup and maintained
4. Coordinate local tax audit
5. Coordinate any other tax related matters such as transfer price
Requirements:
– Professional Accounting degree
– 3-5 years experience
– Preferably with some years in a distribution or trading business in an MNC company
– Working in Finance Shared service environment will be an advantage.
– AP system, Window & Microsoft applications.
– Knowledge of Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Taxation, Co. Secretary & Legal
– Full set of accounting experience
– Good communication in English
– Advantage with exposure/ experience in handling team subordinate or ready to lead a team
