This position is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, controlling and managing of the functional activities of Production Control, Shipping & FG Store through cost-effective utilization of available resources with due diligence and compliance to all internal and relevant statutory requirements.
Establish key performance indicators, monitor the trends and institute actions for continuous improvements.
Establish procedural or systemic controls to ensure inventory integrity and transparency in the procurement activities.
Effective communication channels with all upstream and downstream functional organizations within and outside of the company.
Provide visibility of volume loadings and engage in strategizing the mode of operations to meet customer demands effectively.
Maintain SAP as the system of record through timely and accurate data updates and improve resource competency in the system.
Develop the human resource towards bringing forth their potentials and create a conducive environment for teamwork, innovative thinking, shared learning and ESH awareness.
Pre-requisite Knowledge and Skills
A University Degree in any background with a minimum of 3 years managerial or 5 years supervisory experience in at least 2 components of Supply Chain Management.
Possess leadership skills and drive to manage the available resources in the entire supply chain gamut and be able to relate its interdependence with the other departments in an organization.
Knowledge of SAP system will be an added advantage.
Experience in Silicon Wafer Manufacturing, Wafer Fabrication or Assembly & Test will be an added advantage.
Direct reports will include Exempt staff of the functional areas : Production Control, Shipping & Finished Good Store.
Reports functionally to the Scheduling Director, whom are located in the Corporate Office in Singapore, and administratively to the Managing Director of the KL Plant.
To provide superior manufacturing services support as an enabler towards ensuring the efficient performance of the KL Plant.
To generate and meet the annual departmental goals and budgets in concert with the overall Plant goals and budgets per set guidelines.
